Yeah, that seems to be the case. I still haven't heard back from ANY mods about it. I'll keep trying.

It looks like the pictures no longer work... This looks like a Good Thing (tm) to do on my XJ.

Sorry, I'm not going to be able to rehost them. Contact 5-90, he has a copy of both fender trim write ups in PDF form with pictures. He should be able to send you a copy.

I've got copies of all the write ups if anyone needs a PDF copy... PM me or email me at Green6173@yahoo.com I'll need your email address to send them to you if you want a copy, so please include that.

You are correct, 5-90 does have the PDF copies as well. Looks like a really useful writeup. I rubbed both rear tires hard (not at the same time) on New Year's day in Mojave, looks like I will be doing some cutting shortly.

Re: Rear Fender Trim Write-up, retaining the stock flare (Fender Trim Part 2)

I am running 33x12.5's and I trimmed + kept the stock flares. I went wheeling and flexed it out...the rear was fine, not a single rub. But the front end chewed up my fenders pretty well. Both front flares popped off on the trail.

Don't forget to install larger bumpstops on the front. I have the stock bumps in the rear, but I think the leaf springs are still too tight. I don't think I hit them in the rear at all.

As some of you turds don't have large enough email accounts for me to email you the PDF's, you can download them here.

File 1

http://www.sharebigfile.com/en/file/...---1--pdf.html

File 2

http://www.sharebigfile.com/en/file/...---2--pdf.html

For those of you who are impatient, you must wait like 20 seconds and scroll down to the green "download" button.

I posted before it was noted that the links weren't working. Besides didn't sound like you couldn't find them.
