Seems that my alternator bearing needs to be replaced. How hard is this? Can i do it myself? Anyone have a part #?

If something goes out in the Alt I normally replace the whole thing or take it to a shop to be rebuilt. I dont know if anybody sells just the bearing but it might as well get new evrything else while your at it.

I usually would but its only 1 1/2 years old. I figure a bearing would be under 20 bucks and a new alternator would be 3 or 4 times that.
