Wheel (rim) specs?

I need to get new rims for my car trailer, it currently has 14.5x6" rims. I wish to go to 15" for ease of tire purchase. The question: which specs will I need to get the spacing correct and how do I measure the existing ones? (i.e. offset and backspacing)
