Mainly pops turning left
I am running a RE track bar and a Core 4x4 double shear bracket.

I just turned the heim ninety degrees, added a pair of misalignment spacers to fill most of the width and reduce the bolt down to a 1/2" bolt. A grade 8 1/2" bolt, grade 8 nylock nut and a few grade 8 washers finished the job. I have three washers on the inside of the bracket to finish filling out the gap.

I think you could also run a Johnny Joint in the RE track bar.

The Core 4x4 bracket required me to tighten the heim all the way into the track bar in order to center the axle. That will vary according to lift.

Re: Ball joint?

guys for ball joints im narrowed down to Spicer or Synergy.

I dont mind either really, however I did notice that the Synergy are splined and i was wanting to know if this is bad for an axle that doesnt normally use splined ball joints ( spicers are smooth machined).

thank you for the clarity

Re: Ball joint?

When I was shopping, I measured the diameter of the splines and compared to a stock BJ: The splined joint was .006-inch larger diameter.

I ordered Spicer ball joints online.

Advanced has it in their large rental kit, the one with 23 pieces, part 648617.
