haha thanks. its more than an alignment. i have a popping sound that sounds like its coming from my steering box and i have bad death wobble and bump steer. :wow:

Cole's Tire on Lorene Drive in Victorville, next to Costco.

I highly recommend pro tire, under the main street bridge, not sure of the exact street name, right next door to the old toys for truck.

Anthony have you had someone look under there while yu move the steering back and forth etc?? If not I'd be more than happy to try and help you figure out the problem..

town and country tire in apple valley ask for james they have a lot of experience with jeeps and suspension lifts as well long arm kits :worship:

on bear valley rd. just past kiowa on the northside of the road !!!!!!!!

town and country is also a very great place with great customer service....and they WILL find the problem no matter what..hahah

Anthony, before you take it to a shop, what have you done to try to fix the problem? Are you sure the popping is coming from the steering box and not the trackbar? If it is the steering box, check the mounting bolts and check the frame around the box for cracks.

Surely, a few NAXJA people can figure this one out.

X2 on the town and country. I live up in Forest Falls and I will make the 80 minute drive to their shop just to get my tires and allignment done. There prices are the best and they are very good with Jeeps. The guys that own it all have Jeeps and wheel all of the time. Great Place!!

Could the bumpsteer possibly be caused by the track bar drop braket with the OTK steering? :dunno:

i bought new knuckles and reamed them precise. i replaced the ball joints and thats bout it. im thinking that the steering box is bad because theres a lot of play and popping in the steering box.:passgas:

i took the bracket off a long time ago and replaced the RE tracbar bushing on the axle side.

I hear you all talking about what a good job T & C does with Jeeps :).

I had bad experience with their work as well as very poor customer service (apple valley store). this was with my F-250. I am not sure how their work is with a XJ, but with my experience with them I wouldnt go there even if they are good on XJ :(

Pro Tire as mentioned did a good job on my new set of tires on my XJ and I would have them do my front end work if I had the money and didnt want to do it myself or know someone on here to help :). I had found an XJ going around town with a website address on it so i checked it out. It looks like the Guy does work on all sorts of Jeeps. I dont know the guy, but he might be able to suggest someone local and or do work himself and his site makes him seem friendly to jeep people :)... http://thejeepguyonline.com/

When I get some funds I will look into my front end as well. I had DW too and with new tires it went away, however my steering wonders even with new tires. I replaced my pitman arm tierod end and my track bar is good. I was told by a shop my ball joints could be bad but I have had a few mech back and forth on that issue :).

Yes i have seem him to. He has gave me about six of his cards, I have called him one time just to check up on pricing, and he is way WAY over priced. I am not sure about now but a couple months ago it was extremely high. I will look in the morning for that steering box...

Wheel bearings could also be the culperit and they are very easy to diagnose...
