11. "We ought to make the pie higher."—South Carolina Republican debate, Feb. 15, 2000

12. "There's an old saying in Tennessee—I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, fool me once, shame on—shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again."—Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

13. "And there is distrust in Washington. I am surprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists in this town. And I'm sorry it's the case, and I'll work hard to try to elevate it."—speaking on National Public Radio, Jan. 29, 2007

LOL

If I was an American I'd probably be a "soft" Republican. But man, Bush... I just could never get my head wrapped around the appeal of that guy.

...but let me guess, you can see the appeal of Obama :D

I bet in 4 years, we'll have at least that many quotes for Obama - anytime he speaks without a teleprompter or pre-made speech in front of him....

Strategery

Yesterday during his last press conferance he used the term " Helicopter driver " good bye and good riddance to the jester who thought he was king..........

That 'jester' kept your butt safe for 8 years.

I like him, but one of the famous ones has to be 'nucular.' Classic!

"America needs a military where our breasts and brightest are proud to serve".
"I'm honored to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein."
"They misunderestimated me."

And there are many many others, It is no wonder every grade he every received in school from his SATs onward is locked up, I would love to read his thesis!!
But don't ever expect to read any of this in the MSM, or for any comedian to ever make a joke that makes fun of him.
Remember the Dear leader can do no wrong!!!

no, I got it :D

But...like Garr just pointed out, you don't even have to be in office yet to start making retarded statements :D

The Bushism for me....standing for what he believed in no matter what the "popular opinion" was. Character, Integrity.

Good luck with Obama

Just to rock your boat a little, F105 Thunderchief pilots were often referred to as Thud Drivers, as one historical example of referring to pilots as drivers. It may be more common to name the type or nickname of the specific aircraft being used, but adding driver afterword instead of pilot is definantly not out of the ordinary. here is one more modern example - notice the title of the thread.

:D

Bushisms are fun though, now on with the Obamisms.
