Brake light issue

Working on an '88 MJ. New dash harness from XJ of same year. All lights are working but the brakelights. Hazards work, turn signals work, fuses are good, nothing happens when new brake switch is depressed. I'm stumped on this one. Any help?

Have you checked power to switch?

Sorry, the pink wire into the switch does have 12v.

WOOOHOOOO!!!! Got it, there was a failure between the cold side of the brake switch and the column. Finally all my lights work, and the turn signal indicators aren't on whit the headlights!!!
