D30 and D35 gears

I have a 92 xj with a d30 and D35 and an 85 with D30 and D35 the 92 has 3.07 and the 85 has 3.73 . I have looked on a lot of sites and cant tell if the ring & pinon are interchangable.I want to put the 3.73 in my 92 for a little more power its a DD so dont want to go to 4.11 or any thing. thank you for any help.

Swapping the axles would be much, much easier.

I fig that but my 92 has new ball jonts and the rear has c clips and new brakes and hard ware and wheel cyl. 9x2 1/4 and the 85 has 10 x 2 dont know if the backing plates are interchangable or not .
