Pismo Camping

I was planning on heading to Pismo tonight to do some surf fishing and a little romping around with some buddies that have bnever been duning before.

Its too late to make a reservation, but what are the chances that I will be able to drive in w/out a reservation and camp. I've camped there several times by myself and had no problem.

Chances are good. Ive been there for years on holiday weekends without a reservation, only because we decide last minute to go up. We normally arrive there around midnight or a bit later and drive right in.

Yeah...what he said. IIRC it tends to fill up during the day, as most are local or San Joaquin Valley folks. But it's huge.
I'll be staying there myself, 6/22 - 6/28.

Had a great time in the dunes. No problem getting in late Friday night. Heres a youtube vid of me doing a round-y-round in the XJ, it was faster than the video looked and made me really dizzy.
