so i don't have to hasle with the morons at the parts store, does anyone know the ubolt specs on a 8.25?

chrysler 8.25 ubolts help

I always get mine wih these specs;(All of my XJ's are lifted so yours may be shorter, measurement C)
3" I.D. bend, 8 1/2" inside length and they have to be 1/2" diameter rod and should be threaded 1/2"x20tpi.
Most spring shops will ask you 3 questions if you do not have the old "U" bolts with you:
measurement A; 1/2" (diameter of the rod)
measurement B; 3" (diameter of the bend)
measurement C; 8 1/2" (inside length of the "U" bolt)
They usually will not take "U" bolts back if they are a custom size.
