Chevy 44/60 front?

Anybody done the Chevy front end swap? I've been seriously contemplating this idea after the doubler install. Have I missed a writeup/build somewhere? Obviously they're easier to come by than the Ford front ends, but are there any disadvantages I'm not thinking of? Thanks guys.

Differential is on the wrong side- doesn't line up with a stock transfer case output. You need to swap transfer cases as well to use the Chevy axle.

Figure that all out on your own?

Im 100% sure Paul already knows that.

Vetteboy had swapped a Chevy D60 front, should be the same as the 3/4 ton setup you are looking to do. Check out Adv Fab for some of his build pics.

Chevy's are low pinion, wide, and make sure its not a 10 bolt front end.

Track bar is slightly harder to mount, but nothing undoable.
