I'm having a driveshaft modded to work on my '96 2door (4.0/ax15/231/8.25 6.5 -7.0" lift). I have yet to install the SYE I have until having a driveshaft. How much area should the splined area be on the new shaft? I am either going with a whole new shaft with a double cardin or modding a Ranger, XJ(etc) front one. Is there a benifit to having the splined area nearer to the T-case (damage)? Thanks
