So local news is calling the wind storm in Portland tonight "the areas first real hurricane!" and telling people "stay in your homes"




should we take bets on damages? :firedevil


im guessing a few limbs take out powerlines, and we dont see the 50 mph winds they say are coming in

Yeah it looks like a hell of a storm, just like all the snow we were supposed to get yesterday! Take what they say and cut their estimate into thirds, 1/3rd as bad as tehy say it will get. I HATE THE NEWS!! Local news is always wrong, if you get online and look at weather.com or any other non local forcast they always say something different and always end up being right.
