what are some methods to get rust off the rim? ive herd to put it in a buckey of water with a prob connected to the (-) side of a battery and a cable to the (+) said, would this work? anyone tried it? the rust is gettin farther then the surface

scotchbrite pad or wire wheel? I assume your painting them?

the rust is in the center not on the out side, , but i am gunna paint them

I have used SOS pads in the past.

Oh, and when clean, a shot of clearcote wouldn't hurt to prevent more rust.
