Check my fluids

Hello,

I have a 1998 XJ with a 5-speed tran, 231 TC(part time 4x4) and a chrysler 8.25 rear.

From what Ive gathered from manual:

Trans: SAE 75W-90 API-GL5 Grade

T-case Dexron III 2.85pts/ 1.3L

Rear: 75W-140 w/ limited slip add. 4.4pts/2 L

Is this right?

If your trans is the AX-15 you want GL3 (the manuals are wrong-search it). GL5 has sulfur in it and will eat up the brass synchros. IDK about the NV trans in the later XJ's.

P.S. I use Redline MT-90 in my 93' with the AX-15
