I've had a dozen or so people give me "i may make it, we'll see .. later" about mojave road this year.

Really, it doesnt matter if you make it or not - I'm going, and I'm going to have a damn fine time.

I do however, want to know who to wait for both at the Avi thursday morning and at the fort Friday morning.

As a recap for those who may have magically been blind for the last month ;) ..

Wednesday night we're staying at the Avi casino. We plan to leave after a buffet breakfast at 9am Thursday morning, and travel a short leg to Fort Piute, where we will be doing a full thanksgiving dinner and camping. Friday morning around 9am, after breakfast and coffee, we will be leave to head on to the trail - and have an open agenda from there.

Directions to Fort Piute here:

If you plan on making it out, let me know. :)

I have:

Me
My father and his wife
Tom Phillips and nephew
The hildy clan

..Santa is a maybe?
Karstic is heading out but may not catch up to us.

Anyone else coming?

I forgot to mention

The Avi is sold out for wednesday night. You can camp a few miles into the trail though, wed night (this is what I did last year).

I have one of the upgraded rooms with 2 queen beds, and the person who was sharing it can't make the trip. If you want to come out and grab that bed, drop me a line.

I'd do it, but that'd mean missed hours. Besides, remember when it was 40 out at JV and Mike and I were inside eating ice cream at 70? :) I wonder if they may lift kits for E350 RV's. :)

Its been done, E350's and other RV's. Usually they don't bother until you get up to about an F750 chassis, but you can find them done smaller.

This is my favorite of the 35 or so I've seen. I like older stuff. :)
