hello everyone,

i have lifted my jeep 3 inches and have found that the left front coil spring rubs on the inner fender well (i guess that is what it is, hard to explain.)

has anyone else had this problem? how would you fix this?

why didnt it fit? and yes your problem is most likely the axle is not centered causing the spring to be pulled to once side, hence the rubbing.

the stud on the tie rod end? your trac bar should bolt to a bracket on the driverside frame then fit in a bracket on the passanger side of the axle.

most trac bars that dont use a track bar drop bracket have to have the stock location drilled out to accept the bolt or in your case i guess its a TRE. But in anycase i would just order something like this:

I have the same problem but mine is the passenger side and it's rubbing the bump stop cup where the edge flanges out. I have a little over 2" of lift and have never had this problem with my other Jeeps at 3.5"??? My springs seems to be more arched foreward than to the side which to me, wouldn't make the trac-bar the culprit.
