leaving my muddy yard in 2 wheel drive in my 92 jeep cherokee 5 speed manual tranny,i spun the tires for about 5 feet. i looked at the tracks,and both tires left spin marks at the same time. stock gears and axles. I thought in an open diff,only the tire with the least traction would spin? if this is the case,why were both tires spinning? thanks for any input!!

there was'nt enuogh resitance to stop one of the tires from spinning, but if one tire was off the ground it would be a differant story
