As for cams, there's been quite a few failures lately with aftermarket bumpsticks. There's talk that it may be due to lack of zinc in the newer oils. The Crane 753904 has always been a popular choice if you can find a suitable oil.
Then there's the usual headers, conical air filters, bored throttle bodies, ported heads and so on. It just depends on how much time/ money you want to put in it.
