any one run these brakes? seems like a good deal to me.

I looked into them before purchasing a Teraflex kit. $279.95 for the brakes sounds good until you read further down the page:

Additional Parts (Needed to complete installation)
bullet Part No. 3100 New (Not Rebuilt) Calipers without parking brakes $120.00 pair
bullet Part No. 3110 New (Not Rebuilt) Calipers with parking brakes $300.00 pair
bullet Part No. 3111 Short Cable Extensions $20.00 pair
bullet Part No. 3700 Rubber hose 9 1/2" $50.00 pair
bullet -OR-
bullet Part No. 3702-8 Braided Stainless hose 8" $50.00 pair

It's the 'additional parts needed to complete installation' that kill it. The Teraflex D44 kit is $549.95 shipped at Summit Racing. but by the time you total up the TSM kit you're pretty easily at or over the cost of the Teraflex item - particularly if you spring for the version which actually has an emergency brake, something that's standard on the Teraflex kit.

BTW: you'll likely need a new brake proportioning valve and handbrake line with either one.

I know a guy who runs that kid on his CJ5. If you have the money, great kit.

However, I'd recommend doing crown vic or ZJ discs. A little more work, but definitely worth the effort.

sua ponte: all my dana44 searches have been going to your threads...

yet you havent looked into crown victoria brakes?
im midway on a xj d44 w/ crown vics and aussie
is your d44 in the jeep yet?

btw, dont let the wrecking yards screw you on brakes(theyll try) ... you´ll probably end up buying rebuilt calipers and new rotors
