Anyone running an external fuel pump on a newer XJ where to pump actually regulates the pressure? I found some posts on fuel cells, but I was wondering if anyone has done this mod to an OEM tank? Can the stock pump be moved to the outside?
It's time to change my fuel pump and I'm looking for options that will make it easier to replace the pump in the future. We haven’t had very good luck with fuel pumps on our YJ. Even a fuel pump from the dealer died after a year. I wouldn't mind carrying a spare if it could be changed easily.
