Does this look bad?

After doing a lift swap from my 92 to my 97 i ran into this little problem. After it was all complete i had one last thing to do. Put the driveshaft on. Man oh man was that a nightmare!!
Even though im using the same axle, t-case and lift kit from the 92, the drive shaft seems to be a little too long. I mean there is no room for the driveshaft to slide together. ( both 92 and 97 are 4.0 and AW4)

This is what it looks like with all 4 tires to the floor and the weight.




Obviously this is gonna fuck somethin up!!

measure what you need and take it to a driveshaft shop

Yah i definitely need to get this shortened or replaced with the right length.
What damage can this do?

Well I wouldn't wheel it untill the shaft is corrected.

Yes.

I wouldn't wheel it but don't worry so much about it on the road.
If your pinion angle is set right you'd be surprised how little the DS actually telescopes.
HOWEVER, that said; take it easy till it's fixed. No fast RR crossings.

ya a short drive shaft can go straight trhough ur pinion or ur transfer case
