Is there anyway to tell by the vin # or otherwise what month it was produced? TIA

On my '91 XJ, there is a label on the side of the drivers door.

Mine says: "Date of Manufacture:09/90".

If your label is still there, it should say tell you this info.

you should be able to call any chrysler dealer, give them the vin # and they can tell you date of manufacture, differentals/spline count, tranny and transfer case. pretty much all about the vehicle when it left the factory.
