NV3550, what vehicles did they come in?

2001 + Cherokee, Wrangler, Liberty

The Chevy S10 used them as well, and I think the Dodge Dakota did too.

Go with the jeep one from the Cherokee or Wrangler if you can, then you'll have the right bellhousing.

An NV 3550 was for wrangler's only..Dakotas got a NV3500. the 3500 has a different first gear ratio. liberty's got a 1500 or a 3500

And, as I recall, the NV3500/3550 and AX-15 use the same bellhousing, so you can swap the Dakota bell for an external AX-15 bell behind a 4.0L and use that. No, I don't recall where I got that information, but I believe it was from a source I consider valid (and I'm waiting for various manufacturers to get back to me anyhow...)

All Jeeps that have 5 speeds from the 2000 year and up are NV3550 transmissions so long as they are behind a 6cyl.
