Snorkel??????

Just got a stock air cleaner box and got rid of the rusty's and cone. I want to make it into a "Homer Snorkel"?
I have seen the ABS pipe used, is there another way?
Can you rout the pipe into the cowl and out the top on the drivers side near the fender?
Ideas?

I think I saw someone use exhaust pipe. Turned out pretty good.

homer or home made?

there are a few writeups but there is a lot more to waterproofing than just a piece of plastic tube just keep that in mind -cpu, breather tubes etc

I have already set up the breather tubes for evrything including the distributer, but now I am wanting to Not spend $250.00 dollars on a inlet for the air cleaner?
"Homer" is "Home Made" from where I come from!
