When I punch in my cig lighter the 15A fuse for the radio blows. Radio, digi clock and light all on same curcuit? Is the lighter (the punch in part) overloading? Does it indicate a short in the system or just the punch in part of the lighter?
Maybe its telling you to quit smoking.
Seriosly if its not the lighter I think the only other thing would be damage to the socket itself. I assume you are running the correct fuse and havn't overloaded the circuit with some add-on accesory.
Get a little flashlight and look down in the socket for anything that might be causing a short. I had a dime get in there once and took me a week to figure it out!
