did otk steering with
5/8" bolts with 3/4" heim & high misalignment spacers on mine..
just drill it man

Just went through this yesterday. We installed the bullet proof steering system. They suggest you use a 3/32 cobalt on the bolts for the cotter pins and (a Drill bit for the piman arm) HAH! Thats a joke.

We ended up having a machine shop hone it out then drill it. He said that it was one of the hardest streels he's drilled.

Cost $10 for the hole, and drilled the bolts out ourself with a press.

For the knuckles, we used a taper bit that goes from like 1/4 to 3/4 and it worked out awesome.

The pitman needs a 3/4" heim with a 3/4" hole - the high misalignment spacers slide inside the hole, downsizing the hole to 5/8". Use a 5/8
grade 8 bolt. Don't forget to use a safty washer on all heims for steering.
I drilled out my knuckles already, haven't drilled out my pitman arm yet.
I went out and bought a 1/2" chuck big 7amp drill for these big 5/8" bits, man... they'll break your wrist if you aren't careful.

you sissys need to learn how to put a good cuttin edge on drill-bit..

laid my 3/4" bit back to about 30%%d (free-hand on a grinding wheel- sans drill dr.)

it cut thru the knuckles and pit man arm like a hot knife thru butter :)
