well i picked up my project XJ and this was in the cargo area. i was told it was a d35 but the cover is differnt from my d35. anyone want to take a guess what she is?

Looks like an AMC 20 out of a Waggy

That looks like a D35 to me. You might have an 8.25 in the rear of your new project.

interesting. i was told my project had a 35. my dd has a 8.25. i will go compare.

i just compared covers to my diff of my dd and they matched. so im guessing the spare that he gave me is a d35 and that the one that is under the jeep is a 8.25. that makes me super happy!

Dana 35. Can't be an AMC20 - '20 covers are circular, and don't have fill plugs in them. The cover looks like an old Tommy helmet, from WWII...

well the jeep i just bought has a 8.25 not a 35. i belive the one i was asking about is a 35 though. thanks for all the help guys!
