A/C

I have a 1987 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0I 4x4. The A/C is working and gets cold but it is only coming out of the defroster vents. The heater does the same exact thing. Is there a hose broken? What is going on? Its summer and its hotttt!!!! Please Help

I have never worked on an XJ dash, but I would assume that there is something wrong in the vacuum lines or vacuum motors that move the gates,
