pulling the lower hose

I feel like such an idiot for having to ask this, but what is the easiest way to pull the lower coolant hose?? Because of the location of the hose clamp i couldn't find a way to snake my hand and a pair of pliers in there to remove the clamp........or maybe i'm just stupid??? lol

is it neccesary to have the clamp removal tool noted in the FSM?? i didn't think so but i guess it wouldn't hurt to ask

If you have the elec. aux. fan, try remving it then you should have plenty of space.

try removing your air box to give you more room

thanks for the replies, the airbox and aux. fan were never in the way in the first place though

i am an idiot though, forgot to try the channel locks..........works like a charm, lol
