HO swap

Does anyone have any experance with swaping an HO engine into a standard pre 91 xj . if any one has any advice let met me know the engine is on its last leg and would like the extra power. any info would be great, thanks

use the full HO motor.

I did and just got a HO TB spacer for it and drilled and tapped it to fit the non HO renix TB so there was no adapting TPS.

Saving money to have the TB bord to 62mm.

Easiest swap in the world other then that fall the instustions on the other site.

I don't think you can get the Renix TB bored to 62mm. There's a guy on E-Bay, Artssounds, who bore them to 59.5mm for about $100. I can give you his E-Mail. I think XJ-Armour is planning to make some new Renix TBs that are bored out.
