...have any boomerang style shackles laying around that I can borrow, buy for cheap, have?
Just put in some new leafs and the stock shackles aren't cutting it.

Scott, I used to fish a few times a week when I wasn't so busy, but these days I've got too much going on.
I'm primarily a flyfisher unless I'm out for big tuna.

Grant, the kayak fishing is something I still want to try someday...

Yeah me too! I just need to find a kayak that'll keep my fat ass balanced.
A friend of a friend nailed a 40lb "barn door" Halibut last year 100 yards out from Torrance beach/Malaga Cove, and 40 lb white seabass the following weekend around the same place.... You can creep up in the kelp better....

But too much going on with family and kids..one of these days.
