i think my friend did his upper arms
and he said its worked fine
idk how he did it or anything like that

Have you ever taken off the arms and looked at it?
i know these are on drop brackets, there is a little adjuster thing in there that can be shimmed out to adjust some, take a look at it in the picture.. the brown thing hanging down from the drop bracket
with 2 bolts on the back

Your link doesn't work rangerjoe..but you are right. Have you looked at the thickness fo those brackets? The further you move them out the more it's going to flex...which means you have a good chance of tearing the whole mount. People have don it in the place they are at. Just Imagine if you put it further out.
