Its not that I dont apperciate it Im just looking for info that is not in most of theose posts. LONG TERM USE and drivability

thanks for your efforts

well since i've got kit #001 of the T&T setup (not counting formatt's prototype), i guess i have the
most "long term" experience... ;)

i'm pleased. took some dialing in to get the clunks out, but the ride is good, the clearance
is great, and they're bombproof. in addition to the new adjustable versions, they've replaced
the lower bushings w/ RE superride joints so supposedly the flex is even better.

there'll be several of us running them at ColoradoFest, actually representing the 3 generations
of the kit now that i think about it... (me: gen I; fatwreck: gen II; jrsxj98: gen III). in fact
i think formatt will be there too so you can see the complete evolution since the prototype!

hope that helps.

Just to add another one to the list, there's also the RockKrawler LA setup.

I know that there older LA kit got a bad reputation, but I've heard a lot of good things about their new version. It's actually the LA kit I've been looking at since last time I checked it was only $475....

ive got rusty's had it for about 1 1.2 years on a daily driver with 38's (44/9)
I like it the ride is better than a stock xj or even one with 3,4 inch lift. the only thing i dont like about it is that i have developed slop ( small amount ) in the treads if the arms other than that its been great...well if you dont count the fact that his trac bar bushings blow ( wear out too fast)

ive only got his long arm upgrade and the front springs the rear is skyjacker springs. I think if you do the 8 inch (or 6 inch ) you need to adress the steering/trac bar mount on the 30 then it will be good. But once you get to running larger tires and spools front and rear on the street you learn to live with alot of stuff and dont notice it anymore (i think thats where i am at )

my .02 just trying to help

I love my Teraflex Longarms. I drive 30 miles each way to work every day and it rides great on the freeway, even with Rough Country springs. They flex like crazy. I have a total of 6" of lift and about 12" total travel at the shocks. The shocks are the limiting factor in my front end.

They had some bushing wear issues but now they use Daystar bushings.

Don't buy the Tera upper flex arms unless they are the new builder's arms. They will wear out and clunk fairly fast.

This is the whole kit, but they do sell a LA upgrade kit. The Brackets and arms.
