Need some help.... :)

reinstalling my Hella lamp switch when i blew out what I hope is a fuse. After reinstalling my xj carpet i put in the process of putting my dash trim back in along with my my hella switch. I ended up plugging the hella in wrong and blew oiut a switch that controls me from starting the vehicle as well as others. I replaced the fuse under in the compartment in the engine bay (40amp) and the problem was solved. Still ongoing is the dash cluster. I have no instrument gauges as in the lights work but the gauges such as gas speedo etc doesnt move. Any help?
