My 99 XJ w/5.5" lift and 33" tires needs a good SYE. I currently have the RE hack and tap, and have gone through 2 new flanges in 4 years. The flange splines eventually loosen up, and I get some major highway vibes. I don't like the design, and I want it replaced. I want Tom Wood's kit, where the flange bolts against the output shaft bearing; not just hanging out there on the end of the driveshaft. The problem is that Tom won't accept the hacked and tapped output shaft as a core. So I want either a good output shaft (obviously for cheap) or a whole NP242 with the SYE already instaled, hopefully in the Detroit area. Let me know what you got.
