Control arm axle mounts

Well, I bent my passenger side upper control arm mount that's on the axle this weekend, so I needs me a new beefier one. Any ideas?

I have seen the mounts bent a bunch of times. The best fix I have seen is to build new mounts from quarter inch steel, and brace to the sides on the tubes.

Currie or R.E. with some gussets. The R.E. will run about $40, and you can keep the rubber bushing they give you or upgrade with one of their small Super Flex Joints for another $30. The Currie piece is around $150, has a Johny Joint in it and is made to slip over the bottom of the existing bracket to keep from welding directly to the tube............. :wierd:
