rear bumper swingout spare carrier

i found an xj with the rear swing out spare carrier.
Has anyone put one on an xj that didnt have one to begin with?
HOw did you know where to mount the side bracket at?(pass side)
Will the carrier hold a 33 and possibly in the future a 35 inch tyre?

if im not mistaken i think theres a plate where the side bracket mounts to the xj.

It is pretty easy to figure out. You need the bracket that attaches into the interior of the XJ in the top right hand corner. there are two holes. You will also have two small holes that will go just above the tail light assembly and can be used for reference.These you will drill through the body and attach the top of the carrier. The bottom would then sit on the plastic molding of the factory bumper and drill 4 holes for those. Next let the carrier swing shut. Where the male nob sits is where the square bumper bracket will be cut out. simple and once you look at it you will figure it out.
