New to Chicago and miss my Jeep

Well it's been 4 months since of been able to go wheeling. I'm in the Navy going to school at NTC in Waukegean (sp?) Anyway I'm 18 and am being deprived of jeeps and am missing my XJ. Is there a Chicago XJ club something? Theres a bunch of you guys out here so I am sure there is something. I was hoping I would be able to ride along with someone on one of the upcoming runs on the weekends. I could be your designated photographer. I'm part of the Socal Chapter and went out with all them quite often. Let me know. [email protected]

see thats the thing I'd have to get a ride up there to I have no transportation except the metro and a taxi

i live in deerfield, not too far from you. far as i know, no XJ specific clubs, but there are jeep clubs. firewalker is based out of gurnee, which is not far from you at all. http://firewalker4x4.org/

If not, what size should I bring?
Are there any detergents you are allergic to?
What is your musical taste?
I would hate for you to be uncomfortable.
