wierd aw4 issues

seems whenever i try to maintin a constant speed the whole thing starts to shake and shudder. works fine if i accelerate or decelerate

new TPS, kickdown has been adjusted, re-adjusted, and adjusted again
new cap, rotor and wires ( figured there was an off chance one of the fistons was misfireing)


ideas?

it's gotta have something to do with the torque convertor lockup.

my XJ did this for quite a while. I cut the wire going to the lockup solenoid so that it doesn't engage.

I dunno how violent yours is, but mine made some pretty horrible banging noises right before I broke down and unhooked it.
