Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys knew of a way to make an xj a passenger side drop?

Also, is there any way to get a t18a from an amc 360 behind the 4.0liter in the xj? I don't really want to use any adapters.

So, will that bolt to a aw4, or do I have to get another transmission? Anyone know if the t18 will bolt on to the 4.0?

A dana 300 will bolt to an AW4 with an adapter. Several places sell them. I got mine from Novak. They use a similar adapter to the one used for an AX15 to dana 300 (same bolt pattern but a bit thicker).

you can definitely mate a T18 to a 4.0, there is a specific bellhousing that works, I'm not positive that it's the one with the 360, but I'm pretty sure. You do have to get the bellhousing drilled for some sensor though.
