Is it normal for the AC compressor to cycle off when the AC Max is on? I caught it doing this today and I don't recall it doing it in the past but…

As far as I've noticed, mine cycles constantly, regardless of setting.

It's normal for it to cycle, if it didn't it would create ice on the coils and would result in poor to no airflow through the coil. There's a thermostat mounted on the plenum that monitors the evap. coil temp. for this purpose.
