Need fiberglass epoxy and spray adhesive suggestion...

Been reading up on replacing my headliner and a good tip seems to be to coat your fiberglass head liner board with one coat of fiberglass epoxy 24 hr before applying spray adhesive as that will make the adhesion much better.

I'm unfamiliar with fiberglass epoxy so I'm wondering exactly what product they're talking about. Can anybody link me to an example so I'll know what to look for?

Also, for adhesive I've been told to avoid the 3M 77 and get the 3M high temp type spray adhesive but that's the best description I've found. Would this be it?...

I have done a couple of headliners on XJs.
The trick to good adhesion is totally removing all the gunk and fuzz on the headliner, left from the previous headliner.
Scrape and then clean the surface with lacquer thinner.

Resin coating is good if the head liner is damaged but not necessary if in good shape.

I bought the material at a auto fabric supply store along with a couple cans of 3M's specialty headliner spray contact cement.

Both headliners are still in great shape after several years.

The solvents in the adhesives are harmful so wear a good organic filter mask when using the spray adhesive. Use it when using solvents too.
