I tried to install a cruise unit from a junk yard, same year(99) in my cherokee and can't get it to work. In addition, I am getting a check engine light now that I suspect is related to the clock spring change out. This maybe the problem on both accounts.
I found what appeared to be a good condition steering wheel in a grand cherokee with cruise and was wondering about the possibility of changing it out and the associated clock spring to my cherokee, I think they were the same year, the GC may have been a 98.
