When doing front ujoints on a dana30 do i have to take the hub off the axle or can i pull it out together? I cant get the axle nut loose and am out of ideas... 1989 cherokee limited...

You can pull it all out as one piece.
It's going to be a pain to swap the joint with the bearing on there though.
You need a longer breaker bar.

Ya, ill have to take another shot later, as i was about to pull it i noticed that the idiots at napa gave me the driveshaft ujoint not the axle... So now im doint that instead. Any tips for doing the double cardian joint?

there are two different size joints for the front axle, did you tell them which one you need?
(not everyone that works at a parts store is an idiot when you get the wrong parts
