1994 XJ Sport (coolant system related)

well, I had it happen... my xj sh1t the bed on the way to work today...

I am going to run thru what happened, I would love if some of you chime in on it... I am thinking and hoping it is my heater core is clogged but here it goes...

On my way to work this morning (about 8degrees) my xj lost heat and the temp. gauge spiked...

got pulled over, it died and I got out to pop the hood... anti freeze is everywhere in the engine bay...

started it back up and limp to work (think god, less than a 1/2 mile)...

what I have check right now... no hoses looked blown out, pressure on my rad cap... no water or anything in the cab...

what says you, naxja???

Doesn't sound like a heater core based on where the coolant is, could be the heater valve though.
