Something on the front is squeaking/creaking.

93 4.0 Sport. Something around the wheel on the drivers side is making a squeaking sound. Only really happens when I turn or hit a bump. This might be completely wrong but could it we a U-Joint? Or is it a shock? I'm not too familiar with the suspension side of my jeep. It has a 5 inch OME lift to it.

Suspension bushings or the track bar bolts/bushings/brackets would be the usual suspects. Inspect and check torque.

Now that you say that, I remember when it was in the shop having the CPS replaced I recall them mentioning something about getting some new bushings. I guess I'll look up some info on those.

Check your lower track bar mount on the passenger side. This was mine a couple years ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUBoYzC-ZcU If you're lucky, it's just loose. I'm not and the hole was wallowed out. The fix is to drill out the hole and bushing sleeve to a larger size and replace the bolt. Do you have an adjustable track bar?
