Planning on doing it to my jeep(will use passenger side) plan is to make the hummer style. Question is this: the 90 degree bends aren't a performance hurter are they? I keep getting mixed views. I know once in the manifold, it can affect it but what about the air channel? Reason being is I am going toaje it out of PVC pipe with the filter in the middle( removable) I already have a cone style k&n filter(came with the jeep) I know how to modify it or fit it enough in to a larger tube that'll disconnect when needed. Just need to oboe if the 90 degree bends actually affect it or not.

Less angle is always better, but 90 degree bends won't hurt. Just look at how the air travels through the stock set-up; it's not the smoothest route either.
