My brake lights recently stopped working out of the blue. All my other lights work fine. This is what I've done so far.
-Checked Fuses
-Changed Bulbs
-Looked for loose connection
-Changed Brake light switch
I tested the brake light switch with a testlight on every wire with the button pushed in and extended. The only wire that gives me power is Pin 1 (white/pink) when the button is extended.
Also there is power to the running light wire to the bulb, but not the brake light wire.
basically get a test light and ground it then check for power at pin 6 (Pink/Dark blue) then push the switch in and check pin 5 (WhiTe/TaN)
