Fuel Filler Hose

XJ 2001 I6 4.0, AW4, AC
I need to replace the fuel filler hose and vent tube. Will I need to depressurize the fuel system first? I have a P0455 code and the CEL is on

If you disconnect the fuel line on the top of the tank, then yes you should depressurize it first so you don't get a face full of gas while laying under the Jeep. If you just replace the filler and vent tube you don't have to depressurize the fuel line.

My Mom's 01 XJ kept throwing that code....in the end it turned out to be the leak detection pump. Just FYI in case it keeps coming up...
